KIDS ALWAYS HAVE AN AMAZING TIME. LAKE LEVEL WAS VERY LOW THIS TRIP.

This is, so far, our favorite COE campground. The 3 campgrounds are connected with paved roads which gives miles of bicycle riding paths. Scattered throughout the campground are HUGE, beautiful oak trees, and there were wild flowers everywhere. The camp hosts are friendly and helpful. Coleman is a nice small Texas town. Though this is a relatively small lake, there are tons of fish and the fishing docks work if you don't have a boat. Restrooms and shower facilities are adequate.

Had a really difficult time figuring out where the site was, signage at the park is nearly nonexistent. Sites are stacked weirdly. Dump station was open but not usable - was possibly clogged? Unclear, there was a lot of standing clearly dirty water when I pulled up so I didn't attempt it. There was also a weird situation with my camping neighbor. I noticed them using a vacant site's firepit during the day when I was there, and after I left I got a call from the park about leaving a fire burning and some items behind... but I hadn't used my firepit the night before or morning of leaving.
