This was a very clean park. The people that work at this park do an excellent job. We will come back for sure.

The staff is always friendly and accommodating! We camped at site 077 L2 this time (below the dam). It's nice. Huge shade tree. And it was 50 amp w/sewer hookup. Lakeside is well maintained and we haven't experienced goatheads (stickers or whatever you want to call them). About 3 or so years ago while camping in L1, a retired woman from up north spoke with us. She said she had traveled all over the country, especially the south, and she said Lakeside Park was one of the nicest she'd ever been to. We camped at Airport Park in Waco and Yegua Creek at Lake Somerville, and the goatheads are so bad we can't hardly walk our dogs for having to constantly pulling the stickers out there feet. But Lakeside is fantastic! Now our phone data there is very bad or nearly nothing. We're on AT&T.

Very nice and clean park. The gate attendant and staff are all very friendly and helpful. This is our favorite place to go.

This camp site was wonderful. It has full hookup and the scenery was beautiful! It was not crowded and it was wonderful to see other families making memories together. We enjoyed having a covered picnic table at our site. We had our dog with us and there was a lot of area to walk her. We will return!

What is not to like. The lake is at 70%. The swimming with the grandboys was excellent. The water was clear and cool. The sun was out. The site are not too close. The deer would visit every evening. The birds would chirp every morning and evening. The Texas skies gave us vivid sunsets and later, starry skies. In the evenings the owls would have a "hoot" contest at opposites edges of a huge oak tree and the fireflies were in full force. The only thing missing was no meteor showers on this trip.

Site was clean and level. Hosts were helpful and friendly. Restrooms are really showing their age. Showers have hot water but are controlled by motion senor. Must keep moving or water turns off quickly. Shower head doesn't move so rinsing lower body is difficult. Love the wildlife in park and on lake.

Great facility for our overnight stay. Can not comment on Bathhouse as did not use. We were in one of the pull thru spots. Well maintained large spots.Very friendly and helpful staff! Will return.

Gate staff very friendly. Park and site well maintained. Sites level and big rig friendly. Just stayed overnight so didn't enjoy the great views that we had.

We have been coming to this park since we were young children and still love it as older adults. Our children and grandchildren love it as much as we do. So many memories have been made here and plan on making more as well. This park is always beautiful and well maintained.

We always enjoy going to Hords Creek Lakeside Park, it is well maintained and quiet with spacious parking spots.

This is one of our favorite places to go. It is well maintained and very quiet. The park attendant Floyd is absolutely the best. My wife and I would recommend this park to anyone.

This is our favorite place. We have stayed many times. Friendly staff and guests. Large spaces. We come in a small motor home and usually stay close to the dam. If they would let me I would live there.

So enjoyed very quiet, no kids running thru your area. Was sorry to hear about a lady stealing a little dog that run away during fireworks in town. Shame on her. The people at the gate entrance are so helpful.

Great place to camp and see all the wildlife. If you like to fish, the lake is easily accessible and the fishing was good. Sites and facilities were clean and well maintained. Coleman is a nice little town and just a short distance away. We will be back soon.
