This is a nice COE park. The site are large and it was quiet. The lake was quite low. The only complaint we had was they did not tell us when we checked in that the Buck Moth caterpillars (I believe that is correct) were very plentiful and that they sting. They are in the trees and will drop on you. They also appear to be aggressive and will come right to you and sting. It may just be the time of the year that we were there.

Excellent park for all ages and children. Campsites have nice covers and tables as well as water and electricity if so desired. Lots of oak trees for shade on the hotter days.

This was a wonderful place to spend time. The facilities were first rate and clean. We will return many times.

Spent 5 days with friends here. Beautiful place. Nice and relaxing. Low lake level but we still were able to get the boats on the water and enjoy a fun, comfortable swim. Will definitely be back again. Thx.

I love this park…large space for the rv, trees, water, beautiful sunsets, well maintained. It is also quiet and has relatively dark skies for Star gazing.

This park is always great! We've camped here several times and will be back. Weather was bad while we were there this time but still had a nice camping experience.

This is our favorite place. I grew up in Winters and we spent summers camping with family and friends. I have wonderful memories of skiing for hours, hiking all day, and hours of swimming in the lake. Now my brother lives in Glen Cove and we take our grandsons for new adventures with family to make a new generation of memories. The lake area is in excellent condition and the employees are out of their way courteous. Its the best kept secret in Texas!!

So many spots to choose from, you're sure to find one that suits you. We definitely enjoyed getting our spots close together for all of us to have a mini family get-together to include an early Thanksgiving meal.

Nice park. Tried to stay two different times---Had to cancel both times. Never received any refund for either time. If you try to stay here & need to cancel---good luck to you on getting a refund. Have stayed at Corps of Engineer parks in the past and have NEVER had this type of problem.
