We had a very goo,d stay at Lakeside Campground.Initially, we were in Site 042, which turned out to be very unlevel, , and we tried to use leveling blocks, but still couldn't get the RV level to our satisfaction.Upon investigating, I found site 003 which turned out to be a fantastic site, and had a lake view, as well as being partially shaded almost all day (late June) and we even had a few friendly Deer wander through our campsite. With Visible/Verizon wireless, we had a good signal, for all of our needs.Recommended Site, for the middle of the summer!

Awesome park! One of the best we've stayed at.. open space, well- maintained sites and facilities, deer everywhere. We were fortunate to see the full moon rise and the sun set and the same time from our campsite.

We loved our stay here; this was our second visit. Very large park, well-spaced sites, some FHU. Short drive into Coleman if you need supplies. Didnt use the bathhouse. Part of park is closed Oct thru Mar so we havent been able to see it.

Getting there was an issue as gps directs you to to Lakeside entrance which is closed. Turn around was 3 miles of dirt roads. There are no signs pointing which campsites are where.

We love staying at Lakeside! 40-45 are our favorite spots so far!

This was the first time we’ve been to this lake for both fishing and camping. We came here for my birthday and I have to say it was so serene and quite. Of course with my birthday being in October I’m sure there isn’t much tent camping during that time. However, the showers were clean and hot water was plentiful. Definitely will come back again and hopefully soon.
