Very easy to navigate, close distance to amenities and the beach is perfect for the whole family. Peaceful trails with comfortable walk ability. I especially love the lake! The boat launch looks easy to back into. Ill have to bring the boat next time.

The bathrooms were unusable. Completely full of bugs,spiders and 2 feet deep in spider webs on the ceiling. Sinks and lights were also covered.

Staff was very friendly and helpful. Park was very clean. The kids loved the sand beach next to the lake. Nice trial to walk. Not overcrowded.

I love Yegua Creek. The park is beautiful. The park folks and locals are wonderful. I don't think anyone could ask for more. I've stayed there I think 3 times now. Sweet!:)

We were visited by the park host Saturday night. We had a starter log (fire starter) and a small log enclosed in the grill to cook hot dogs (forgot charcoal) and the host told us we were not allowed to have a fire even in the grill and we had to put it out. We told him that we were trying to cook and he told us "I guess you're not eating". We told him we understood and put it out. He told us that he could call the ranger and we would be ticketed and fined due to non compliance, we reminded him that we were complying and putting the grill out. We left the next morning. I received a call from a ranger the next day, who left a message, very accusatory and threatening to fine me for having a fire during a burn ban. I understand about a burn ban and understand that we were in the wrong for having a very small fire in the bbq grill, but the rudeness was uncalled for. In addition, we were tent camping and although the gates are supposed to be closed at 10pm, someone at the gate was letting people in the gate until much later, shining lights into our tents and waking up everyone. It was not a good night.

Met some real nice people. A couple that had lived in my hometown years back. The park staff was friendly and nice. I was fortunate and spotted an American Bald Eagle. I was able to get some really good pictures. Great place to walk and ride bikes. Will be back.

Bathrooms had broken shower heads, urinal not working only one sink usable. Bathrooms only cleaned once a day tops.

We had a great time. the view of the lake and the weather were perfect. due to season it was not overcrowded which was wonderful.
