Pretty park, relaxing views. Not a lot of hiking trails. Expect brisk showers in a cold building ... Hot water is hard to come by in the showers unless nobody is there.

Sites are large, well kept, and beautiful views of the lake and sunset. Wildflowers everywhere along the roads. Don’t forget to stop at blue bell ice cream , in Brenham. The army Corp parks never disappoint!! Ty

We had a lovely spot by the water and the campground was quiet and peaceful. Lots of deer roaming around!

This is such a lovely park. The spaces are big with many trees. The sunsets over the lake are memorable. The camp workers are so friendly. This is my favorite campground.

Yegua Creek is a great location and the sites by the water have tremendous views, we always enjoy our stay in this area. Local wineries are worth a visit and the restaurants in Brenham and Burnett are exceptional.

Clean, quite. Very well maintained. Saw lots of very tame deer

I am really sad that the playground area was torn down and it looks like they are not planning to replace it.

Not sure why the rule changes were made regarding check-in. If you have a spot booked on a day that it is open before 3:00 I don't understand why you can't enter the park when it is available.

Not sure why certain sections of Yegua Creek Park are closed off for certain parts of the year. If it is to avoid cleaning those bathrooms then just shut down those bathrooms. The corp of engineers is probabaly losing money by not offering all sites available 365 days per year. Camping has become very popular since COVID and all spots need to be available. During the Fall and Winter the grass doesn't grow very much to have to worry about doing a lot of extra mowing.

Love the park, but there are too many raccoons and they are not afraid of people!
