I Love Yeague Park and have been going to this Park for over 30+ years and Loved every one of our trips.. Till this past week where the gate guard is one of the worse Person I have ever experience at this park and many other parks I have been at... To me the person that checks you in the park is your first experience you get when you arrive.. And this gate Person was not that in any way.. Was very disappointed on how she handled everything..

We wish they would bring back the playground for the kids. Everything else was great and we had a relaxing time.

When we arrived, we noticed a significant leak at the water faucet. We reported it to one of the wonderful volunteers at the entrance. Shortly after, Ranger Plair showed up and quickly fixed the plumbing problem. We always have a great time at Yegua.

This is a very poorly designed and managed campground. First, we arrived late at night and there is very little signage, so we ended up headed for the boat ramp and had to back our motorhome about a hundred yards on a narrow road. Simple signs that identify the loops and campsite numbers would eliminate that problem. Next, the campsites are crowded together like in a KOA campground, even though there is plenty of space in the park. We were there on a busy weekend, and most of the other campers ignored the rulesdogs were running loose everywhere, people were noisy way past quiet hours, and some campsites had more than the allowed number of people and vehicles. There are three hosts, but they are far away from the campers and do do not interact; I never saw any of them the entire time I was there. I am not sure what they do, as the grass was long, the restrooms were filthy, and many campsites and facilities needed cleaning and minor repair. I would not recommend this campground to anyone looking for a comfortable place to camp; it seems to cater mostly to boaters who stay only a couple days and apparently dont care about the condition of the facilities overall.
