This visit was one night on our way to another town. This is the 3rd time we have stayed there and wereally enjoy this park. We rode our bikes around the loops and saw a lot of deer.

This site was well shaded and so deep! The site was very level- no blocks needed. Easy walk to the lake, and nice views all around. This site is in the center of the loop, so a there were campers on all sides of this- but still a beautiful site! I would choose one on a more outside part of the loop if available, but would definitely stay in this site again! Lake was not too low, even in the drought, and the "bottom" is sandy (not mushy or rocky). We enjoyed our stay here very much! (we didn't use the bathrooms a tall so can't comment, but the grounds seemed well maintained).

Nice and peaceful, great views of the lake and pet friendly. Has a great beach area where you can leave your boat and kids can play in the water. Highly recommend. A+

Front check in staff super sweet and so welcoming. We loved how the park ranger came with the ranger dog with swim and park safety for the kids. My kids loved it. The only complaint I have and have always have had is the showers where the top of the grates are there is nothing covering it so the air and wind come in and its horrible when taking a shower very cold it seems there was plastic at one time covering it but its ripped away. Usually we take showers in our motor home but my daughter wanted to try it and it was freezing so I cant imagine the people that have to take a shower or go to the bathroom every day and night m.

This park on Lake Somerville is a wonderful place to come camping with the family. Bathrooms are kept really clean as well.

Great park. Very clean. Campsites a little close together for some but we had excellent neighbors. Was fun to watch wildlife and walk nature trail. We did the trail 4 times in 2 days. Loved watching the deer come in the morning and afternoons. Trash dumpsters were a little scattered but such a nice place to walk not a bad trip to them. If you have younger kids or kids that like to wander beware of the grass burs, they are almost everywhere.
