Camp host was great - very friendly - and the main reason this campground gets any stars at all. The stickers here are absolutely unbearable. There are many other reviews stating the same thing and we booked a site here anyway thinking that they couldn't be that bad. I was so wrong. You cannot step into the grass anywhere without getting covered. If you travel with children or pets, this campground is not very fun because of the stickers alone. The location is pretty, but we wont be returning because of how bad the stickers were. Hopefully they can get them under control but they are so out of hand it is going to be a multi-year process.

Loved staying here. Such a pretty park. Lots of shade in the area we were in. Deer everywhere. The map shows a playground but it wasn’t there, grandkids were a little disappointed. But overall great place will definitely go back.

Chose a drive through site (#8) at entrance to park.
It was very quite there, except for occasional traffic.
Friendly staff, and the park is well maintained.
Found out later that there was a whole lot more to the park, as a person drove deeper into the park.
I would go there again...

Had a great time camping at Yegua. The Somerville and Lions area has many fantastic eating places. The Park and Lake are great and well maintained.
