I really enjoyed the rv camp ground. I saw lots of animals from my camp site and while walking the path

Nice heavily shaded spot with ample room and extra parking across from it. Abundant wildlife with lots of deer. Great view of lake and nice boat ramp with courtesy dock.

Great place to camp. Spaces are not to close together. Nice grills and fire rings. Friendly staff.

We stayed four days in August, 2022. It was very hot during the day, but with plenty of shade it was tolerable. The staff here is always very friendly and they keep the park really clean. It is one of our favorite places to stay.

Had a wonderful time camping there, great camp site park host were the friendliest I think I ever experienced here and I have been camping at yegua for many years,

Been camping at Lake Somerville since the 70'2. For a core park sites are fairly close together. Properly maintained. Friendly staff. They have a 3pm check-in time which maybe enforced?? If site is open why not allow early check-in?
Not to far from Brenham restaurants, big box shopping and Blue Bell creamy. There are other sites close by like Round Top, Independence and of course blue bonnets in the spring.

Beautiful and relaxing campground! Restrooms and showers are great. We loved waking up and being able to look out our window above our bed and see the beautiful lake. We have been camping there for decades and now both are children camp there as well.

All good! We live in Brenham so were in and out a lot. Check in was great and easy since we had a reservation. Spot was good and luckily weather was perfect. No complaints. So glad parks are open again and we can enjoy them. Hope that will continue.
