Our site was level and a great view of the lake.

Host were very helpful. 5 stars. However I dont understand why sites were closed (apparently for the winter season ). The sites closed were in better condition than the ones that were open. Mainly the condition of the surface of each site. Just saying.

My husband and I recently camped at Yehua Park. We stayed during the week and only had 3 other campers in our circle area until Thursday when a number of other campers came. We enjoyed taking walks in the evening to watch all the deer. We were right near a cove so walking and fishing along the water was also fun. The showers were warm, but it was open-air so it was a little breezy. We do plan to camp here again.

I was very disappointed to find we could not check until 3 PM. I was told that this was to allow hosts to clean campsites. We were there or three days and no one cleaned the campsites At the time we arrived there were only 5 sites being used in our section. This is a poor ruleBathrooms were not clean.Park is covered with sand burrs in lawn areas and on trails. We ended up placing tent on driveway because of burrs. This is the biggest problem with the park. Beach is excellent. Trail is nice except for burrs
