The park and campground were excellent! Our site was ample and we had a great view of the lake and had the cool breezes coming off the lake. The park staff were friendly and very accommodating.

The location is fantastic, but I would have loved if people would not use very bright white lights and flood lights after a certain hour. It really ruins our sleep as well as the visual adaptation to see the beautiful night skies out there. Also I was told not to turn on any fire and then realized that everybody around me had a camp fire on. The rules should be rules for everyone and need to be enforced.

We enjoyed the grounds and seeing all of the deer!

Great experience at Rocky Creek. Clean and well maintained park. Many deer in the park. Excellent hike and bike trails. Our visit was after peak season so many of the prime and water front sites were closed. Grass burrs everywhere so difficult to find a clear area to walk the dogs without stopping every few minutes to stop and pick stickers out of their paws. Despite this we will be visiting the park again.

Love this lake and Rocky Creek Park! Gate attendants are so welcoming. Facilities are kept very clean with sufficient lighting at night. Pad sites are kept up, but would love to see more trees planted. Too many older, large shade trees are filled with moss and are dying, which means shade will become more scarce over the years. Can’t wait until north side is open and work begins again on the remaining damaged electrical sites. Playground rebuilt for kids would be great!

Very clean, tons of deer and birds. Quiet place although it filled up on the weekend
