The park was very clean and maintained. Not sure about bathrooms because I am in a rv. Our site was clean and level. This is a great park.

This was the second time for us to stay at Rocky Creek Campground and once again we loved our stay. The lady at the gate was awesome! She told us about the store (Wild Bills) across from the park entrance, was the place to get a great hamburger. She was right! The deer in the park were everywhere and we loved watching them. The park looked well taken care of and we had no problems. Well definitely visit here again!

Such a great quiet park! If you like the relaxed and quiet atmosphere this is it! Being able to pull the boat up close to the campsite is awesome and the friendly staff is also a plus.

The sites are quiet, clean and spacious for our 25' rig. The lake has great fishing and we love watching the deer. We have visited several times and continue to do so.

Beautiful campsite. Shade trees made for a very comfortable experience, especially since tent camped. Very clean bathrooms and shower. It was unfortunate that the lake was down because of drought, but still enjoyed kayak fishing.

Most of the campsites at Rocky Creek park were unavailable when we visited in early November of 2021. The campsites that were open were not very crowded though. We only stayed one night but we tried fishing to catch dinner. That was not successful so we had delicious hamburgers cooked on a wood fire. We also put in our kayaks and paddled around near the park. We found out that we had been trying to catch fish in waters only a foot deep. We paddled out to a peninsula across the inlet and a large bird flew out and landed on a protruding log not far from us. The bird had the distinctive markings of a mature bald eagle. It perched on the log, seemingly posing for us for a couple o minutes then flew away. However, we we not able to spot a bald eagle nest in the area. There were many other birds to watch - blue herons, egrets, vultures

Memorial Day was great except for the weather. The ranger ( Amber ) had to knock on my door to let me know the water was risen and I would have to prepare to leave. She and her assist worked hard to relocate us instead of just making us leave. As it worked out we did move to higher sites and completed of holiday weekend. She is a sweetheart and she cares about people and the safety. I was very blessed to get to stay along with everybody in our group. We moved 3 out of 4 sites. We were lucky to do this on a holiday weekend. Hats off to the rangers and the gate house people. Now let the water out! LOL

We love this park! It is well taken care of and offers spacious sites that are easy to get into and out of even for our 44 toy hauler. We will be back every time we are through the area for sure. There are 2 items that were less than spectacular experiences for ourselves and for our group. One has to do with the check in time. Let me say right up front that we were all aware of the posted check in time of 3p. That said, a little common sense could be used if someone wanted to check into an empty park at 2p on a Thursday! The second has to do with how a park staff member dealt with someone who had their dog off of the leash and was exercising the dog by throwing a ball into the water for the dog to retrieve. Yes, there is a leash requirement and yes, the person was aware of it. That said, the park staff member parked their car and walked no less than 75 yards down to the waters edge to yell at the person to put the dog on a leash. A nice, quiet sir, I am sorry but even though you are well away from others and the park is empty on this Thursday afternoon I am still going to have to ask you to keep your dog on a leash. The proper tone and respect go a long way when enforcing the rules!
