We stayed here for two nights during the Round Top Spring event. Convenient drive in to the event. Bathrooms were adequate but full of spiders, and a bit outdated. Showers were hot. Cleanliness was not great. The camp site (RV) was easy access and deep. However the last night a small group showed up behind us to tent camp, and ended up being more of a party spot. While my AC inside my van was loud and drowned out the noise, my neighbor to the side asked if it bothered me, and said that group were outside playing music till 2pm. The next morning while outside drinking our coffee, they were up at it again, playing music, at times very loud. We were pulling out so I didn't complain, but I would think there should be a park ranger patrolling to stop such behavior.

Wish we could have stayed longer. Generous sites and a great view of the lake. Sites were level and it was easy to get around on the roads even in our 40' motorhome + tow vehicle. We would stay here again when in the area.

I messed up my reservation, and the attendants were awesome on helping me work it out. They even checked on us to make sure we got settled in OK.

Impressed with cleanliness of park. Bathroom/shower house very clean. When we checked in, park host was very friendly and helpful. He got us in a happy, relaxed mood before we even entered the park. Sites were situated so all had a few of the lake. We were on site #75 which was very adequate in length and very level for setup.

Camp sites were well maintained but we were pretty close to our neighbors. Too hot and humid to walk the trails, and the mosquitos were thick. You’ll want to bring insect spray. We walked around many of the closed off areas. Very green and tons of deer. Be careful of the ground cover as there are many painful stickers. Water in this lake is dirty, lots of floating debris.
