This a quiet, well maintained park. It is one of our favorites. The staff are friendly and professional.

We had a great stay at Rocky Creek, although the weather didn't cooperate. When we arrived, we were told the water would be shut off in a couple of days due to a storm coming through. The campground is beautiful on the lake. The sites are spacious. There was plenty of room for our 28' RV and 18' trailer without unhooking the trailer. The showers could use a deep cleaning. We visited the Texas Cotton Mill Museum and the old Simon Theater in Burton. Very interesting. There's a fun little Cafe in Round Top called Royers Cafe with great food, service and interesting decor.

Bathrooms, we were there for 4 nights.No soap, the same trash on the floor for 4 days.

I use to go to Lake Somerville as a child and it's still pretty. Unfortunately we had a huge cold snap and spent 90% of our time inside the RV due to the below freezing weather around Christmas. Our spot was full of deer and it was nice to have a lots of space between lots. Brenham is a short distance away.

We just want you to know we appreciate the staff and the care they put into managing and ensuring the park is cared for in great links.The bathrooms, were clean.We always appreciate that the park is well manicured and less stickers too. YAH!!Thanks for doing an awesome job to take care of this park. This park is on top of our list and we appreciate the work that goes into maintaining it.

Staff was super rude and unprofessional. Parked outside of the gate waiting for the check in time so we could go in. Area had NO signs about restricted parking. Had an attendant come up and aggressively tell us we cant park there and we shouldve known to come up and ask permission to park there? When we told him wed leave and thanks for telling us, he continued to go on until he was red in the face. Thought maybe it was just us but another guy fishing in the park mentioned a similar experience of getting berated. The MOST UNPROFESSIONAL customer service experience Ive had. Will not be coming back.

Sites were large and roomy. Great view of the lake. The kids had a blast.
