We love Rocky Creek Campground and reserve our spots every year at Easter and sometimes Mother's Day as well.This past Easter was no exception-we arrived on March 28th and stayed until April 6th. We had been told by some of the campers that arrived in our party a couple of days earlier that we needed to bring weedeaters because the campsites had not been mowed. It's sad that we had to spend the better part of our day weedeating around our grounds and it was very difficult for our 18 mo. old great grandson to hunt Easter Eggs because the grass was so tall. A couple of days later, the mowers came-the job was done in 2 days and it was really nice-just wish it had been taken care for Easter-it would have made it so much nicer.

We will be back. The lake was beautiful. Only one thing to note. We have dogs. Be mindful that there are cockleburs/or some variation, in the grass and gravel. One should take off their shoes prior to going into an RV.

The campsite #71 was roomy and had lots of shade. Enjoyed the stay except for the rain the last two days. Will go back.

Lots of space between sites and no mater how full the park is it is always quite.

Check in was very easy and quick. Sites are spacious and clean. Would go there again.
