That lady at the gate house named Tammy is top notch! She needs a raise, a company truck and her own personal helicopter. She really is THAT good! Thanks Tammy for making our stay at Rocky Point a really nice experience. And if they do give you a helicopter will you take us for a ride???

Rocky Creek appeared to be well maintained, but as with most gov parks needs some garbage dumpsters placed closer to campgrounds. I picked up aluminum cans and plastic bottles almost everywhere we walked. 2 or 3 at exit wasn't adequate for the number of campers that weekend. The sewer dump site needs some attention. Water hoses were cracked and leaked, sewer covers were broken and had a rock for covering connection for hoses. Also there is limited bank and no pier for fishing, wife's favorite activity.

Wonderful COE campground! Spacious sites, fire rings, grills, picnic and prep tables! Nice playground for the kiddos, nice boat ramp. Too cold for swimming, but the beach looks like it would be nice in the summer! The camp hosts are all super nice! beautiful sunsets if staying in the C and D sections along the water! Would need more shade of course in the summer, but in the late fall and winter-very nice! Excellent AT&T cell service-able to use personal hotspot with no issues-no electrical issues, lost water twice due to installation of new water pipes in the area, but only for about 45 minutes each time. Not the fault of the park. The showers and bathrooms are cleaned once per day and were clean, but this was not during peak time. The COE folks cleaned all sites daily that were not occupied.
