DEAD trees everywhere, something needs to be done with them. They are safety hazard and is going to get someone hurt or killed.. Needs to be a PRIORITY!

We Love to camp here with the kids and Grandkids. Nice sites and Playground. The Beach area could use some work.. but kids just want to swim and play. We will be back in the fall.

Excellent hiking areas near the park, awesome campsite with great view of the lake. It can get windy on the lake, so if that's and issue for you, get a spot in the interior of the park. Quick drive to Texarkana, very quiet at night, friendly staff and volunteers.Only negatives is that the bathrooms need some maintenance. Drain in a shower didn't work, motion light didn't work.

Very pretty park, well kept, many shaded spots and many spots with beautiful lake view. Unfortunately, if you dont have a water craft to get out on the lake, there is no access to the lake for fishing - there is no pier and the hillsides down from the sites are steep and covered in huge rocks too dangerous to try to climb down on to get to the water.

I love Rocky Point. Every spot has a different view and vibe. All of the sites have a concrete pad and it is kept very neat and tidy. It is quiet and family oriented with a great playground centrally located. There is a herd of deer that roams the perimeter of the area. They are beautiful to look at and they thrive in the serene environment. The lake view at Rocky Point if my favorite. If you are looking for a weekend away with the family this is it!

Wright=Patman is our all time favorite place to stop any time we are traveling east. The sites are roomy. The scenery is awesome and the personnel are delightful.
