Love camping at rocky point. Always clean. Nice helpful people at gate. Wish there was more sewer hook up spots. More trails you can ride on with regular bikes, , way to many big roots. Everything else great

Park is well taken care off. We didnt have reservations but were able to reserve on site.We got sites C5 and C7 both having lake views. After setting up I told my wife I needed to go to the gate and check in, so I headed out. Lough and behold I got outside and the gate manager was there with our site hangers. I thanked him, everything was fine. We had a nice fire and totally enjoyed the night. We will stay again. Only complaint: Bathrooms need an upgrade.

View of the lake was amazing, the campgrounds were clean and well kept. Employees at the gate were very friendly and accommodating. We enjoyed the trails that were available, and also the many forms of wildlife we witnessed while there. Deer were frequent in our area. Highly recommend this site for anyone wanting to connect with nature.

This was our first time to camp at Rocky Point and we were very impressed with the comfort we felt in the park. During COVID, we had to make our reservation online and arrived after hours, so we did not get to interact with the park managers in person, but we were well informed throughout the process of how to enter and some of the regulations. We appreciated the presence of the managers in the park, as we saw them drive through a couple times throughout the day, but we still felt as though we had our space and a sense of privacy to enjoy the weekend. Grounds were well kept, the site seemed level and had a great amount of shade provided form nearby trees. Being our first time to set up the camper, we had no difficulty to hook up water and electric and were able to maneuver the trailer easily into position to empty the tanks at the end of the weekend. Plan on camping at Rocky Point again and will explore the park further to find a favorite area and discover activities offered.
