The path to water was messy. Lots of tall weeds and lots of limbs and fallen trees. Ants and mosquitoes but I guess thats expected. Didnt seem like it was ready.The gentleman was very nice at the gate.

Good boat ramp. Camp managers are helpful and not over bearing.

December is our favorite month for this park. It is very quiet and peaceful this time of year. This year from last year has been some improvements. Like the area around the entrance has cleaned up greatly and the dump station has been updated over last year when we camped hear. We are hoping that the roads get some much needed repairs. Other than the flies and ants keeping the 5 stars away we love the park. We have seen more of the staff and host this year out and about and that's always a good sign. Keep up the good work everyone it is much appreciated.

Had a breaker blow on the electrical outlet, Camp host came quickly and had a Ranger out to fix it with-in the hour.

You cant pay the gate attendant on arrival. You must do it either by phone or online with recreation.gov. It was time consuming. Once I paid by phone the gate attendant was able to issue me an entrance pass. Its ridiculous, they should at least be able to process a credit card or accept a check as payment at the gate.

Great place but I cant understand why it is closed during the summer months. Lots of folks want to camp in the summer and the campground is closed.

Beautiful, well maintained campground. The perimeter sites are spaced far apart and its very wooded so there is plenty of privacy.

Malden Campground is our favorite. It has a woodsy, outdoor atmosphere and the camp sites are distanced far enough apart for privacy. Bathrooms are clean and the boat ramp is nice and accessible. If there is any flaw at all, the playground equipment is usually very dirty with cobwebs and leaves/rocks when we take our granddaughter over to play.

Great showers and bath rooms. Nice camp sites and knowledgeable gate attendant. Lower rating below excellent because of recent controlled burn in the campground that was extinguished, so area was very smoky. Also another camper let her dogs run loose.

We always enjoy our visits to Malden Lake, the park is always well maintained, the hosts are very friendly, we enjoy the campsites being spaced out so that you have some privacy and the location is close enough for a weekend trip but far enough away from home that we get to relax.
