Malden Lake Campground in Bowie County is located just 29 min southwest of Texarkana, TX with an elevation of 260 feet. There are a total of 38 campsites. The campground is open all year. Sites can accommodate RVs and trailers between 30 and 55 feet. All sites are currently reservable. Reservations can be booked up to 6 months in advance. All sites have electric and water hookups. Fees range from $24.00 to $48.00. Some amenities include shower, dump station, boat ramp, flush toilets. Activities include biking, boating, fishing, floating sports.

Totally enjoyed my birthday there. Stayed for 2 weeks!! The only problem i encounter were ants. They were horrible this time. Fortunately I always carry something with me.

Site 17 is nice in that the curb side of the RV faces the woods for privacy. There is a short nature trail that runs between the campsites and the lake. My only complaint is the water. It was awful. The smell was just so bad and I wouldnt dare drink it.

Great campground. Great fishing. Great place to stay for deer & hog hunting. Well worth it. Camp host was wonderful.

Good campground with aging but clean restrooms. Crumbing but serviceable roads and sites. No dumpsters, though, and we looked high and low.

We have been camping here for many years and over the years the campground has gone downhill significantly. Specifically the bath houses. The mens side is filthy and needs severe repairs. The womens side needs a mirror and the shower tile needs some major attention.

Quite, peaceful, love the level spots for our 5th wheel, gate keeper very polite, wish it was open longer dates

Front gate needs bar to prevent non campers entry. There used to be an automatic bar that raised via keypad. Numbers to enter were given to campers at check in. I did not feel as safe as when that was in place. Gatehouse is open minimal hours so less security there also. Otherwise pleasant stay.

We have always loved going to Maulden lake,my husband passed away a few years ago so its been awhile to find the courage to go camping again!Maulden is not the same anymore they are only open a few months out of the year,camp grounds are dirty,its so grown up you cant even see the lake anymore,play grounds are covered with moss would not let grandkids play,Bathrooms are so disgusting with mold everywhere!l am heartbroken that they have let it run down like that!

Site P9 hookups were in perfect working order and supplied all our needs. There was a tree blown over at the camp site but it supplied a good wood source for the fire pit. We always have a good time camping at this facility. The camp operators were very courteous and friendly as they always are. All in all we had a wonderful experience.

This park is amazing. The views are just breath-taking. The campsites are not one right on-top of each other and you have ROOM-TO-BREATH!! It is a nice get-away from the hustle and bustle of daily life.

Nice campsite if you dont mind lots of neighbors. Halloween decorations and autumn trees were great. LBL is a lovely place to visit

We have been camping at Maulden Campground for about 20 years. Its our favorite campground, when you camp there, you dont feel like you are camping on top of your neighbors. The campsites are very roomy. The gate attendants are extremely friendly. We love it there

The path to water was messy. Lots of tall weeds and lots of limbs and fallen trees. Ants and mosquitoes but I guess thats expected. Didnt seem like it was ready.The gentleman was very nice at the gate.
