Site P9 hookups were in perfect working order and supplied all our needs. There was a tree blown over at the camp site but it supplied a good wood source for the fire pit. We always have a good time camping at this facility. The camp operators were very courteous and friendly as they always are. All in all we had a wonderful experience.

This park is amazing. The views are just breath-taking. The campsites are not one right on-top of each other and you have ROOM-TO-BREATH!! It is a nice get-away from the hustle and bustle of daily life.

While travelling south we spent 4 nights. This is primarily a fishing lake campground. However it also served us as a quiet rest stop before continuing on our journey. We were not here to take advantage of the fishing , and we didn't leave the camp ground. If you are looking for inexpensive camping and enjoy nature, then this is the place for you. Well maintained with friendly staff. We try to stay at Army Corp of Engineers camp grounds when possible. If you never have you should try one, you will be pleasantly surprised.

Love camping at Malden Lake Campground however I do wish they would not close down for three months in the summer.

It was fun time. Would have been better if grass was mowed. This is an issue at Malden every time we camp there. Thats the only complaint.

We camp here twice a year, in the spring and the fall with 4 other couples. Always have a wonderful time. The grounds and facilities are always kept clean and neat which is a definite positive. We spend our time camping socializing with our good friends and fishing. There is nothing better than spending a day on the river catching a mess of channel catfish. I dont know what is better though catching them or eating them. And the Park Hosts and Rangers go out of their way to make sure your camping experience is a good one. And if you forget to bring something or have problems with some of your equipment there are markets and supply stores within a short drive from the facility

All camp area personnel were very kind and helpful. Had a wonderful relaxing break from everyday life. Spent our time relaxing with our friends chatting by the fire and sharing some fine camp cooked meal. The rest of our time was spent pole fishing for catfish. Did not get to fish as many days as we would have liked but did manage to catch some really nice catfish. All in all it was a great relaxing vacation that we hated to see come to an end. But we are already playing our next get together for next March. Can’t wait to do it again!

We were told at the gate at time of check in that we have Fire Ants oh yes LOTS! Also lots of other bugs, pine needles in our spot and tons on the road. We were told by other campers gate is broken not secure.

We wanted to check in 1 hour early. There was no one in our spot, but we were told that we could not do this. This doesnt happen at all COE parks. Most will work with you if no one is in that spot.
