The people at the gate were very friendly and helpful! The campsite was very nice and close to the restrooms. We enjoyed our stay very much. Thank You.

A great place to camp. The only thing missing is 50 amp.

Campground not well maintained. Fire pit was completely overflowing with ash and trash. I had to clear out bottles and cans to build fire to cook on. The campsite next to us had outdoor TV blaring with nobody outside watching. We left campsite cleaner than when we arrived. The lake is beautiful.

I stayed here overnight while passing through. This was my first car camping experience and the park (and the price) made for a lovely stay. The Recreation.gov app made it easy to make reservations. The park is gated which was a pleasant surprise for a solo female traveler. The site has a picnic table, fire ring, electric, and water. I'm in a Tesla and got a full charge (50 amp outlet) overnight which is a win for any EV driver. The setting is beautiful. On the lake, under tall pine trees, peaceful and quiet. The restrooms and private showers are very clean and well kept. I received a call from the park operator after my first night to check I had made it in as it was after gates closed when I arrived and early when I departed. He also called prior to my second night to let me know he'd left my pass and gate code for me to find...after gates closed arrival again. This personal contact made my decision to stay on my way back through. The one star I left hanging is because, at some point in the night, there was a sewer smell that lingered for a while. Gone by morning but unpleasant nonetheless. I would definitely stay again when in the area.

The people at the gate entrance were very friendly. We really enjoyed our campsite and surroundings. We especially liked watching deer roaming through the wooded area around us! We had a great experience.

We love Clear Springs.... however the restrooms didn't seem to be as well cared for as usual.

Gentlemen at the gate was friendly and gave us directions to our site E 3. Nice and quiet campground. Roads are narrow into the loops but we are a smaller RV and had no issues. Not many campers this time of year. We love the pine trees and the view of the lake. Love having full hookups but the sewer hook up is at the end of driveway. Luckily he had extra hose. Bathroom and shower house ok and heated but water was cold for shower. We got here on January 25th 2022. We were in the process of adding 6 more days to our stay here but the site wasnt letting us reserve the night of the 26th so I reserved the site next to us. My husband was moving outside items over to the other site. The office called and said we had to leave. My husband was trying to explain. It was very frustrating and my phone didnt have much signal here. Had to use my husbands phone. What are the odds that someone reserved our site for one night with all the empty spots here? It was crazy. We moved to site E1 for the rest of the nights. its a handicapped site which my husband is disabled so it was fine. We ended up staying a total of 6 nights. Enjoyed our days here before heading for Florida. We would return here if we ever come this way again.

The campground is very nice. There are sites near the water but none of them have sewer hookups. If you need sewer hookup, choose one of the other areas. The roads are narrow but I didn't have any problem maneuvering my 38' motor home around the campground. My friend with a 36' fifth wheel did manage to run off into a ditch while making a turn. Just be careful and you should be fine.

Beautiful Piney woods with lots of shade. The restroom facilities and showers we’re very clean and odor free. There’s a couple of screened in shelters that are also very cool. The lake itself is gorgeous and very picturesque. I highly recommend this place.

We had a very nice camping trip to Clear Spring. We are locally and when want to camp around our home we always choose Clear Spring. Wildlife and scenery is beautiful and exciting to see around your site. Utilities are adequate and facilities always cleaned daily. The drinking water is clean and tasteful. Picnic tables, charcoal grill and firepits available at each site. Satellite and cellular coverage is limited, but available. The only thing I suggest is bring Fire Ant deterrent due to the Pine Trees around sites.

Would have been five stars, but the rain came & thats no fault of tbe park which is sooo quiet. Sites are well spaced from one another & love the deer at early dawn & dusk. Well spent $$
