Beautiful grassy area between the sites and lake on B loop. Clean facilities and very quiet. Lots of singing birds. Park grounds are well maintained. Good cell signal for Verizon. Some sites have narrow approach and possibly challenging to access if you have a large rig. Nice dump station and clan restrooms. Will definitely be coming back.

The park is beautiful and well maintained. There were crews there trimming trees while we were there. The host at the front was a wonderfully nice person (thank you for your service). We chose this spot on the way home to Illinois from Texas, but only stayed one of the two nights due to incoming bad weather. We will be back...for a longer stay! The only thing I can say is a negative: Site B08 is very difficult to back into with a 42 ft 5th wheel. Its narrow, and the post across the street is in a bad spot for cutting the wheels. Otherwise, all thumbs up!

We thoroughly enjoyed our 10 days at Clear Spring Campground. Every day we walked around the park including several trips on the short nature trails. The trails were well marked and we enjoyed the educational signs. We wish we had taken advantage of the fishing, but we did enjoy the many different kinds of birds, especially the pelicans. The visitor center/ranger station was interesting and the volunteer there was helpful and knowledgeable. Would definitely stay again if we are in the area. In spite of reports that there was no internet we had two bars of both Verizon and ATT. I think our site number was 7.

Very well maintained. Every site, regardless of whether it's on the water or in the pine trees, are great. Plenty of clean restrooms. Beautiful park.

Beautiful campground! Pet friendly. Family friendly, had a small playground for kids. Boat ramp access. 2 dump stations in the front when you exit and also 2 in the back of the campground near the restrooms to dump your portable tote. The campsites are pretty, most surrounded by big trees. There was a lot of little trash here and there around the whole campground, including my campsite. It made me sad and angry that we aren't taking better care of these beautiful campgrounds. The water pressure was fine. The electric(30 amp) did flicker on me a couple of times one night but worked fine besides that. When you are coming to the campground, there are 2 roads that lead here. Make sure you DO NOT take the one with the railroad tracks. They have signs, but not till you are already turned onto that road. I didn't get to do too much exploring this round, but I will definitely be back!

Very nice park, parking pads are very narrow, but manageable, nice area for fire pit & picnic table. Loved the trees & all the birds singing.

I would have given a five star rating if it weren’t for three items. 1. Dog leash requirements are widely not followed or enforced. 2. Our camp site was littered with a large number of cigarette buttes that I picked up and put into the trash container. 3. There appears to be no after 10:00 PM rule for noise and lights. If there is, it is not enforced. Other than these items, our stay was wonderful. Beautiful park!

This was our second visit to this location, and it was a wonderful as the last. We had a water leak at the water outlet when we checked in on a Saturday. They came out quickly to assess the issue. They offered to move us to another site until the issue could be fixed, but we chose to tie into our parents trailer water instead and stay at the site. The company came out on Monday to fix the issue. The park was very clean and beautiful.

Stayed two nights at Clear Spring Campground. Excellent experience from checking to departure. Was in loop B and had clear view of the lake. Site was a large back-in site as were all of them.Site was long, level with gravel with a concrete pad with dining table and fire wring. Electrical and power conveniently located at rear of site.Original plan was for one night but decided to stay for an additional night as I was well pleased. Had to make reservation for 2nd day for next day through recreation.gov but when I awoke the 2nd day my pass for my new site (also on loop B) was on my windshield. Great service.Closest stores and city were a short distance away but well worth the time to be able to enjoy this park.

We would recommend Clear Springs to anyone. We did a weekend and drive thru. Both were very good.

Nice campground, almost identical to the other 2 on this lake. Easy to get to. Mostly families from around the area camp here it looks like.

We stayed in loop B site #10 in a 27ft Jayco went kayaking it was hot but had a great time only about 15 minutes from Texarkana
