We stayed at spot 28. The campground is generally nice, the spot has shade. BUT the trees have sticky stuff/leaves and everything was sticking all the time. Same on spot 27. You will definitely need to wash your RV and equipment afterwards.

The positives first: campground staff was nice and the bathroom set up is great. They were clean, especially for a holiday weekend. The site however pure mud. There wasnt a bit of gravel at our site. It was overgrown on the corners and moss had grown on top of the dirt layer making it slick when dry and incredibly dangerous after the two and a half days of rain we had. Camp staff was out raking some sites and cleaning them up, but ours looked like it hadnt had any attention in quite some time. We were camping with family and one of the sites was left with thousands of cicada shells. I understand we are in nature and thats part of it, but its frustrating that they take time and attention to cleaning some sites and left others a mess.Some gravel and a blower/rake would go a long way here. We all almost fell multiple times trying to get around our site. If we didnt have a rug it would have been unusable due to the dangerous moss/dirt combo.

This is a great campground. You have to be careful if you are a big rig iwhile navigating the roads and some of the branches are a bit low but honestly, it is worth the effort. We are 65 feet of motorhome and trailer and our site was perfect. Based on the location of the site and the angle, it is easy to back into off of the loop. In fact, many of the sites can accommodate big rigs. Just double check the length and slope. Lastly, be careful on the turn into the campground if you are similar to us. Take those turns wide.
