Booked a site online at recgov that we diligently made sure was plenty long enough for our rig (62ft). The site was 95ft long. And appeared according to Google to work to back into. However, when we arrived - there was no way to park in the site (53). The berm area dropped 3-6ft on each side of the VERY narrow road and there was a poorly place concrete curb at the site across from us that prevented us from being able to angle in to the site. My partner is EXTREMELY experienced in driving trailers over the years. It wasn’t happening. We gave up and we’re heading out. Camphost flagged us down and took partner to look at the only available spot yet per the recgov app (site 35). It said it wouldn’t be long enough but he said we could angle into the grass. But that we had to change reservation online. Well we couldn’t do that because it was the day of arrival. Spent TWO HOURS total on hold and talking to a customer service person to have them rebook site camphost moved us to and then complete request to get a full refund because if we just canceled we lost all of the amount paid. Stupid. Ridiculous process. The roads within this campground are far too narrow and have far too steep of drop offs to safely move campers thru. Why bother having such long sites if you can’t even get into them. Very poorly designed campground!

Campground is a 10/10!!!! Awesome sunsets… all areas clean and tidy…. BUT the perimeter roads and campsite access roads along the water can be extremely difficult to navigate and back on with larger towable rigs… roadways are narrow to begin with, add to that culverts and drainage ditches on both sides of roadway without curbs and it can be treacherous to get in… BUT we’ll worth the effort!!! Will be returning on our next visit to Nashville… just going to plan on arriving mid day to navigate to our site….

Campground full of debris. Restrooms dated and dirty. No air conditioning or circulation in restrooms.
