A nice campground with plenty of space between sites and a lot of shaded sites. You're close to the Old Hickory Lake, so you can go swimming or boating of any kind. Peaceful place! I enjoy coming here.

A very nice, quiet, well kept park. We had a beautiful view of the lake from our campsite. This park is located close to Nashville. We were able to spend time seeing things in Nashville and then return our campsite on the Lake. Golf courses close by for those who enjoy golfing.

The campground is beautiful and we always have a wonderful time when we go. There was construction at the lake right behind our campsite that was a bit noisy some mornings. Hopefully it will be wrapped up soon.

This is a clean, lovely small campground. The sites were spaced apart and trees and grassy areas made it feel welcoming. The only drawback back was the face there is a (very nice) residential area next door. However, unless you were looking, you would not notice it. We found it the perfect spot to spend the night as we traveled south in hwy 65.

Beautiful location. Concerned about drainage issues with the rains. Spots are a little tight. Issues with camp hosts being able to split reservation if there is a problem with site. Recreation.gov said only camp host could change and camp host said they couldn’t.

Excellent managing team. The campground is immaculate. The campsite is level, water and electric fully functional. Campsites are shaded and close to the lake. This is our third visit, and we anticipate many more occasions in the future.

Loved it except dump station is hard to get into with a big rig. Beautiful place.

We arrived late! The lady at the gate was very nice! The sites are very close together and the boat marina behind the campground is very noisy especially on the weekends! I have severe allergies and the trees were putting out the big green seed like that was everywhere and when my husband tried to cook outside the green seed like in the food! This campground does not look like most COE campgrounds that we have visited! The park is lovely in a city like park way! We left after 1 day because my allergies were so bad I was having trouble with watering eyes and coughing! The hosts were very understanding and kind!

We picked Cedar Creek due to its proximity to Nashville. We had never been to this area camping before. It is one of the nicest campgrounds I have been to. The sites are level, either a poured pad or chipped rock. The water on Old Hickory Lake is visible from a lot of the sites. The public beach area was the nicest sandy non-ocean beaches I've seen. All in all a great experience.

No one greeted us at the front gate to give us our tag to hang on the vehicle. At the end of our visit someone stole our cooler while we were in bed that morning on our site. The site itself was very comfortable we enjoyed our trip But felt neglected in any type of security gate was open at night.
