Cages Bend is a beautiful, quiet campground on Old Hickory Lake. We have been camping here for over 20 years and have stayed in nearly every campsite! The campground has gravel and concrete pads, but every site has a great view. We have had many hosts over the years, but this year's was exceptional! We already have a return trip reserved for next Spring!

Needing updated tables and wood replaced on certain sites. Lots dead trees and limbs. Cleanup crew have no respect for campers still there. Hosts could be more friendly.

Cages Bend is a great camp. Quiet, relaxing, good place to kayak. Close to good restaurants.

Cages Bend has beautiful campsites, spaced well, clean, and in a beautiful setting on the lake.

Pretty view of the lake. It’s hilly so a little hard to ride a bike. Many of the campsites have steps up or down to the table and fire pit. There is only one bathhouse and it definitely could use a makeover but it is clean and the showers work well. The camp host is very nice. We look forward to camping here again.

spot 27: listed to accommodate 38 ft 5th wheel rv - NOT so! trees to the right, deep deep potholes on the left that will swallow a complete front wheel. requires several jack-knife maneuvers to back 38 ft rv. doing so with trees on the right caused rv to scrape the right side of rv against trees causing considerable damage. after several small jack-knife maneuvers finally made it onto pad. you must cut down the trees on the right, as well as fill the potholes on the left because narrow roadway will not allow a complete simple backing onto pad.

Better than I had expected. Lots of sites with a lake view. Very clean and quiet. Good stable electric. Large picnic pads. Will be back.
