I have a lifetime pass which allows me to stay at half price. Upon arrival, I was asked to show my card. I had left it at home. The attendant charged my card the additional half in order to allow entry. The necessity to show the card is buried in the website. I have been disappointed by the reservation website repeatedly.

Very clean. We had a riverside campsite, near the clean bath house. Bath house could use more light at night, shower curtains, and new shower nozzles. The shower stalls have a door for privacy, but the water splashes from the shower onto the floor in the small dressing area. That makes it pretty hard to get dressed without getting your pants wet. Camp host and hostess were very friendly and nice. Check in was easy and quick. Peaceful, quiet, relaxing campground. The river is pretty and it was fun watching people fishing and kayaking.

Beautiful setting! loved watching the wildlife - beaver, armadillo, trout, and birds. Great space between campers and we didn’t need to level.

Nice, quiet, scenic camp site right on the river. Bathrooms were nice and clean with great showers. Will definitely be back.

This has been our favorite location thus far. We weren't sure about it when we booked it online, but what a pleasant surprise. The drive to it was beautiful. As you are crossing a 700 ft high dam, you look below down to the river and you see the campground. We were on spot #10 and felt like it was the best spot in the campground. Nestled up by the river, the spots were far enough apart, the bathrooms were clean, the hosts were gracious and helpful. The only complaints are that the wifi doesn't reach through the whole campground and there aren't very many full hookups here, but I could have cared less. It was all made up for with the location and the hospitality. We would definitely be eager to return here again. The Corps of Engineers have done a great job at this location.

The sites were spacious for our 40’ MH and toad. We had a river site and absolutely loved the view! The park was clean and well maintained.
The only negative was the lack of cell service. The park has wifi but it only works for the 5 or 6 sites near the gate.
This is a beautiful place and highly recommend it.
