Beautiful well groomed campgrounds, loved seeing deer grazing in the open. Numerous water sites. Bathrooms need to be updated.

One of our favorite COE campgrounds - wish the shoreline of the lake was cleared somewhat and not as much grass so you could fish/cast from the shore. Always enjoy stopping here if we can get reservations!

Wi Fi is very weak. TV reception is poor. These conveniences are very important especially during bad weather.

This was not the first camping trip for my wife and I. We love to camp at Defeated Creek. The camping sites are always clean and ready for hookup. Although we did not use the restrooms this time, but they are always clean as well. The people working there are always ready to help if a need arises. We really love the views. We met some of our friends there and they invited us over to set around the campfire each night of our stay. One night we roasted hot dogs on the fire and had a feast. Though there were many people camping, the environment was quiet, as usual. Looking at the deer is always interesting. One evening we counted thirty two deer grazing. Throughout the day the deer are always wondering around the camping area. The lake was peaceful. People were boating, fishing from the bank, and swimming. I recommend Defeated Creek to anyone who love good wholesome camping. Gene McGee, Murfreesboro, TN.
