My husband thoroughly enjoyed the fishing, in spite of the rain and cooler temperatures.

Exceptional park with wonderful hosts, perfect sites, and clean facilities. Appreciate the washer and dryer and upgrades to 50 amp. Would suggest wi-fi local tower as as there is no service throughout the park. Also wish there would be information regarding marina events available and shared with campers. Hiking trails are lacking but other amenities make up for it.

The site was very big. There was absolutely NO internet for AT&T nor Verizon. We had to drive about 10 miles away to get any service at all.

Enjoyed our site could see the lake. The park is always clean. Always enjoy every camping trip we make to Defeated Creek campgrounds

This campground is GREAT! The site are exceptionally nice & the staff is wonderful!

We have had wonderful times at this campground in the past. This visit has been less than great. It began when we booked an extra site for one night and arrived after hours. The following morning, we received a wake up call, advising us that we failed to check in. Even though, we had arrived after hours and used the gate code that was provided in the welcome email. We had one site for one night and separate site for two additional nights. We moved sites once we noticed the other occupants had left. Well the wake up call was rude and advising that we need to check in before we moved. (I will take fault for this) but the female park caretaker could have been nicer Then lets add we have golf carts, which lets add are not street legal, so by TN code they do not have to be registered. Tenn. Code Ann. 55-8-191 Yet this same female took issue and advised us that they could not be driven on the property, which we also respected.. Then one our friends sons come down for the afternoon, in which we had already advised that 2 cars would be one the sites and had tags for the vehicles and yet this same female, flew through the park like a wild woman and banged on the door and brought issues to the fact that the vehicle was parked at an empty adjoining site, as he had just arrived and the vehicle on the site needed to be moved before he could parkHis truck on his parents site. Lets go back to the golf carts, there was at least 6 on the property this weekend and only two two that had tags, yet we were the only ones who she brought notice too. We have wondered if it because of our last names and if this was due to discrimination, Or if she is just a bully and picks victims not sure if we will be back or if we will tell anyone else to come here.. I hold a respected role in this community/town and to say I am disheartened by the treatment we received none the less.

Beautiful park. Beautiful lake. Park is well kept. Helpful staff. Gate closed at night.
