Beautiful park, our first time to camp there. Abundance of wildlife viewing. Enjoyed watching the deer! Also saw a couple of skunks walking around in late evening. Stayed way clear of them . Only complaint at the dump station there was no faucet connection to connect my black tank sprayer hose.

the campsite and campground were above what was expected on our first time at the campground. T he only complaint is minor that internet and cell were iffy but got around it. Looking forward to making new reservations.\ RJ Onufer

Defeated Creek was actually one of the Nicest and Best Campgrounds we have visited and have plans on many return visits

We always enjoy our stay at Defeated Creek. This visit was no exception I just want to give a shout out to the camp host for helping us with our electricity issue. We arrived and the 50 amp hookup wasn't working they asked us to plug in to 30 amp until morning and they would have someone come check it. The next morning a COE electrician came and changed out the plug. Also, when a storm came on Monday they got out in their truck and came around to check on everyone. They came over to our truck where we were sitting with an umbrella and told us we could go to the bath house for shelter during the tornado warning. This is a "premier" campground in every way. Please thank them for their hospitality and protection.
