Only stayed overnight as a stop during our travel. Have camped at numerous private as well as state, federal and COE parks. I must say Defeated Creek was the best rv park for rvs of any type I have visited. In addition it was the best maintained in every respect. Staff was also excellent. Plan to return for a week long stay as soon as possible.

My wife and I come here from central Arkansas every year to visit friends. We love it here so much that we are going to start coming here more often. It is so beautiful and the bath houses are many and always clean. The lake is gorgeous, it is quiet and dark at night.

Beautiful place. Only one issue is the wi-fi is awful. Lots of things to keep you busy! Love this place.

Beautiful campground with potential to be much better. In the entire campground only saw one wi-fi repeater so don't expect coverage. Sprint cell had 1 bar 3G at best and their wi-fi didn't help anything. Did not see any "official" monitoring of the campground and the only maintenance we observed was what appeared to be a contractor blowing leaves from the roadways. Our fire ring had not been cleaned and besides campfire residue had a lot of white goo and trash in it. The water spigot was leaking while off and got worse when we hooked up and turned it on. With a bit of adjusting, we got it to a relatively low flow while on. Bath house/restrooms seem to be pretty old and not well cared for. Can't help but wonder why such a high occupancy campground wouldn't budget for better facility care. Never saw a "campground host".

Large sites. Lots of trees and greenery. Several clean bath houses. Nice beach for the campers.

We camped with our 5 year old grandson in October 2019. The park is beautiful with nice size campsites and plenty to do. We played games, played on the playgrounds, rode bikes, made s'mores, read books and our grandson caught his first fish all by himself. The staff were friendly, courteous and helpful. We will be camping at Defeated Creek again.
