Great campground BUT they need to enforce the rules. Kids on battery powered scooters doing 20mph, golf carts everywhere, people not cleaning up after their dogs. On a weekend its a zoo.

This was an amazing campground. All the staff were so helpful and friendly. The grounds are beautiful and maintained. We were visiting from Arizona on our way across the country and wished we could have stayed longer. AWESOME!

Defeated Creek is the Corp of Engineer campground that sets the bar for all the others!

Campground and site was meticulously maintained. Staff was friendly and helpful. Having plenty of grass to play with dog was great. direct kayak access was perfect. Definitely would return

The camp hosts were very nice, the sites were clean, the scenery was beautiful. We had no problems and enjoyed the 7 days we were there. We highly recommend this campground for anyone looking for a beautiful resting spot to get away from it all.

Just a nice relaxed park (Sun. thru Thursday) with killer sunset views overlooking Cordell Hull Lake. One of our favorite kickback destinations. The park host staff are great about taking care of problems within their control.

Although the facilities were adequate, Defeater Creek Campground was not particularly to our taste. During our Friday night stay, it felt that this large campground felt like suburban get away from folks on Nashville. Tons of big rigs set up for a weekend gathering. Name placards, TV dishes, impressive Halloween decorations on display.
