Defeated Creek is our favorite camping place! Well kept, great bathhouses, easy access for kayaking and good roads to ride our bikes. The staff is very helpful also. If your a Senior make sure and get the America the Beautiful lifetime card and save half on your camping fees!!

Site 76 is perfect for our big rig. View from our site to the lake isn't blocked which was nice. Nearby hiking trail that is definitely a must during the fall season. Hostess was awesome.

The sites were well laid out, good spacing between sites, many sites were shaded. Roads were paved and sufficient width to allow parking the RV easy. The staff take immaculate care or the grounds and restrooms. They even dust the outside of the restroom so there are no cobwebs!!!

Lovely campground with spacious sites. Large playgrounds, showers could be updated and perhaps cleaned every once in a while! The beach area is small and very dirty, you would think they would clean up the driftwood on the beach inside the campground .

Very nice campground, scenic, good roads, level sites, overall a nice camping experience. Our site was level, across from the water so we had a view of it and could see fish jumping all the time! The restrooms could use a little updating. The one near us had only 1 stall and a urinal on the men's side, 2 stalls on ladies side. Each site has a picnic table and a firepit. We bought firewood at the little country store right outside of the park. We camped in a travel trailer and will camp here again.

We've camped at a lot of places in the last couple of years and I have to say, this is one of our favorites. Beautiful. Peaceful. Poor cell signal but worth it. We will definitely be back!

This park has many roomy campsites, both on the lake and off. The sites are nice, and the bathrooms were well cared for. The campground is very quiet after 10pm and everyone I encountered were courteous and friendly. Cordell Hull lake is very nice and there is a Marina and a Corp of Engineers day use area nearby.

Defeated Park is a great camp ground. Could have not been better.
