It's a beautiful campground! Our site was clean. We stayed on site #55, right on the lake. Great time with family and friends! Highly recommend this campground.

Get the mountain bike trail cleared so people can use it. We try to come in Spring before the weeds take over. I would like to come more often to ride more. Thank you for keeping the grass mowed frequently this year. This hasn’t been so in the past.

Nice campground but some areas have sites very close together. Some of the rules are not enforced. There was a site across from us that would have 5 vehicles parked around it.

We really like Defeated Creek and have had excellent experiences camping there for the past five years. It has always been beautifully well cared for. This year, grass cutting, site cleanup/maintenance, and downed branches pickup were all significantly below past years. One contractor indicated budget cuts were responsible, but supervision of clean-up crews was not apparent and site/area pickup was minimal, leaving downed branches and site litter untouched for at least 5 days. Grass cutting crews were excellent as always, but stated they were only allowed to cut 1-2x/mo rather than previous 3x/mo.
This is a campground and park with high volume usage and an excellent reputation, its hard to see it not being cared for as well as previously.

Very kid friendly. Defeated creek campgrounds are the best around for kids.
