We love Defeated Campground!! Beautiful and relaxing!! The only thing negative are the skunks. We had one we watched go into our culvert every morning.

One of the nicest COE parks that we've been to. There was a slight uphill incline to get to the level part of the site, but that was really no issue at all. even though it was not right on the water, the elevated site had a great water view, and if it were a bit warmer and we had our kayaks with us there was a clear path to the lake to put them in without encroaching on anyone's site. We'll definitely be back (if we can ever find some availability!).

Wonderful large campground. However when bad weather happens, cellular and internet reception is practically non-existent. But when tornado warning happened, camp hosts were very quick to unlock interior of bathhouse for secure location from storm. New camp hosts very pleasant! Sites always clean and most pretty level. Noise is minimal due to campsite spacing!!

A quiet place on the water. Restaurants nearby as well as boat ramp. Staff was very hospitable. Can't wait to stay there again.

Defeated Creek is probably our favorite campsite in our area: it is about 1.5 hours drive from our home; close enough to go often, far enough to on vacation! Beautiful camp site! Well run. A lot of deer roam the campsite. Nice beaches. Full hookup available. Just all around a great experience.
