We love this part of the world. Its peaceful and the shade trees make even 90 plus degree days bearable. Super nice managers on site as well.

Even though we were totally disappointed with downtown Nashville we loved the park. On the down side we left 2 days early. At other gov parks they gave us a refund for the unused days

This place is great! A little hilly but the views of the lake are amazing! The hike to the bathrooms from the lake area is taxing but you can drive your car to the top and park at the top which makes it easier to get to the restrooms. Definitely plan to come back and spend a little more time. Looks like its about 42 minutes to Nashville.

Nice park on the lake. Friendly hosts. Many Buddy spaces that can hold tow campers. Her lake side. Amazing. Clean restrooms and showers with hot water, but they can be a long walk.

Was very nice but really needed a lot of trimming down at the campsites in a round they did much more cutting at the water spots

We enjoyed our stay at campsites 29 & 33. Tents had to be set up on gravel due to lack of cleared and level ground, but it worked ok. The views of the lake were nice. The bathroom is a significant hike up a steep hill from these campsites so we typically drove to bathhouse because we had small kids. Bathhouses and grounds were well-kept.
