The campground itself was nice. We booked last minute and got one of the less desirable sites - but there are lots of really nice ones backing up to the lake if you book in time. Our main disappointment was the actually the campers. Lots and lots of foul language and "riff raff" into the late hours of the night. We had our family with us and this was a constant battle. At our actual campsite we dealt with neighbors who were screaming at each other, fighting, cursing and behaving questionably day and night. When we took our kids to the lake, there was a pontoon parade with EXPLICIT music SO LOUD we could hear literally every word. It was definitely NOT a family friendly environment and we probably will not go back. The campground itself was clean and nice, though. All the staff that we encountered were friendly.

It was a very relaxing camp ground. We even stayed a day longer just to enjoy the area

Great spot. Wish it had been for more than one night. Was very peaceful sleeping & morning coffee. We did arrive right at dark. Don't recommend that. Drive in is dark & was muddy after rains. Camp hosts told us a rig had gotten stuck coming in the week before & had to be towed out. Will definitely stay here again. Even spent my morning walk picking out future spots.

Great hosts. Very nice campsites some better than others. Lots of group sites with water and electric. Tough approach though. Have to enter a residential area with narrow streets. Lots of low hanging trees on the Corp of engineers side of the road shortly after turning down Fergus road. When dry they are not bad...when wet they grab everything. Further on lots of low hangers on both sides.

Great area, Lots of area to move around when parking my travel trailer. Great bathrooms, hot showers. Lots of the spots closer to the water where concrete pad sites, and concrete steps to get to the water.

Staff are very rude. We’ve been camping here for years and have never been treated so rudely.

Too many trees over the camp site. Also wish they would add sewer to the sites. No swimming beach.

Very nice facilities and well kept! Just a little bit far to rest rooms!
