I suggest not offering site 53 as a tent site. It's large but there were no truly level places on the site, and the ground is extremely hard packed and rocky. We've stayed at a hundred different parks in tent sites and this site was among the least enjoyable. If you cut in a level tent pad it would make all the difference. Bathroom facilities were very good.

Staff were very Friendly, Roads were in great shape and wide enough to navigate larger rigs. Most campsites were nice with fire ring, grills but no lantern pole. Our Campsite was however, on a 10 to 15 degree slope.Everything slid of the table. The only area at our site that was somewhat level was where we parked. I would recommend reserving a lakeside site. The Showers and bathrooms where clean. But out of 2 showers, One of the Mens showers needs a shower valve replacement. We camped in June and the biting insects were everywhere, bring repellent.Park didnt get quiet until around midnight. We reserved two nights, only stayed one. I would stay here again but come prepared.

I wish Id paid more attention to reviews before choosing this campsite because my negative experiences werent unique. The thing that bothered me most was that the host came by around 11:20 am and asked if I was going to be gone by noon check out. Ive never stayed at a campsite that was so worried about check outs before (maybe because yes, I am always aware of and respectful of checkout times and it is totally unnecessary to ask people if theyre going to leave before theyre contractually obligated to leave.) The other things people say are true:1) the bathrooms are difficult to access unless you drive (I cut through the woods to get there, but wasnt comfortable doing that on the way back and it was a very dark 20 minute walk in which I encountered a man who was lost and looking for the bathrooms - luckily I had my map to give him).2) drives up to campsites are steep enough that I was glad for my 4WD3) and nothing is leveled, so eating and sleeping are uncomfortable. Id say skip this one. Its mildly uncomfortable in a lot of ways and who wants to be rushed out of their vacation?

Beautiful and easy to find. Sites are far apart and provide lots of privacy. Fire pit, grill, and picnic tables were all great. I would gladly camp here again......2 things to consider:1st there are a ton of flights overhead that are noisy. 2nd my "tent" site (53) was on a major slope so that sucked a lot.

We booked one of the tent-only sites and it was such a sloped plot of land that it really wasn't workable for any sized tent. Also, there was a party at the community pavilion with a DJ! The music and noise went on into the night. Not exactly the camping experience we were looking for.

Mobile Data Speed Map
#123
If there are speed tests submitted for a campground the campsite icons will be colored based on the average download speed and the border will be colored based on the average upload speed.
In this example Campsite #123 has very good download speeds and decent upload speeds. If a campsite has a solid yellow color it means there was no data speed detected in the test(s). Clicking on a campsite icon reveals more details.
