The park is very nice with beautiful views. The park hosts are very helpful and friendly. We had a wonderful time there.

My family and I have been going to Floating Mill since 1995. Weve always loved going here but I must say the grass is always too high. I was told they mow every 2 weeks which is ridiculous! I have seen them mowing once maybe twice in all those years. PLEASE MOW MORE OFTEN. Other COE campgrounds are not like this. The host this year was absolutely the nicest of all!

Been going to Floating Mill all my life. The park gets better and better every time. Upgrades all around, maintained, clean, etc. Perfect location on the lake. Awesome sunset views.

We normally have a wonderful experience here but not so much this trip. We even left early because of our experience. We had our children & grandchildren there to visit as we normally do, this time to celebrate the 4th. We all live in different locations so Floating Mill is a central location. On the evening of our family cookout & swimming, parking was rough. We were forced to park by the playground area & in a spot to the side of an unused tent site which was maybe 2 foot on partial grass. The host who is normally very kind came to our site in his truck fusing about how we were parked (including the 2 vehicles on our site that had already been in the same position for the past 3 days with no problem.) I tried to explain that there was absolutely no alternative parking to move to. It was packed! He drove off & maybe 15-20 minutes later the park rangers were there. He called the rangers! They were kinder about it than the host was but made us move 2 vehicles that werent even in the way! I understand about keeping the road clear for emergency vehicles but we were in no way blocking the roadway. This campground definitely needs more parking area. At least they could be more lenient on parking on holiday weekends. My children & grandchildren left shortly after this incident cutting our normally happy family time together. They did not return the next day either! We left a day early because our family didnt want to go through the hassle of parking! Not a good weekend!

Campsites were more narrow that other campgrounds in our area. Restrooms nice and clean.

Ive always enjoyed Floating Mill but I have to say for the first time in 25 years of camping there I was very disappointed in the condition of the site when I arrived! It had drink boxes in the fire pit & corn cobs scattered around. There was also what looked like grease poured out on the ground right where my rug laid & we fought ants the entire weekend even after spraying Raid.
