Nice park. Try to get a lake view site. Great overnight stop, but may need a boat to get the most out of the site. Big on boating,fishing, and many locals use it as a campsite at night and hunt all day.

Just left this place after 14. Days,, excellent,, there are a some cracking sites,, on the water and shaded, ebony the sites that are not on the water, , this place is first class,, facilities are the best i have seen,, spotless,, showers amazing,, hot water, fantastic pressure,, and the site is well laid out,, some parts along the lake are close but not ridiculous, others are well spaced,, I had space 105,, which was completely isolated,, shaded and in a little hollow,, was going to move to the lake side after a week but decided I enjoyed the quiet,and my big dog was safe and secure too,, camp hosts Tom and Rhonda are great,, unobtrusive and polite,, helpful,, would stay here again for an extended duration anytime,, getting it booked however is hard,, most weekenders taking up the prime spaces,, local knowledge booking exactly 6 months in advance,, but after Sunday night it clears,, less than 25% full then full again Friday,,, 9/10 for this one,, the only comment I have which is slightly negative is that drivers go way too fast,, so maybe ACOE put in a lot more speed bumps,, and more signs,, its just a pet peeve i have,, its a campground,, not the Dakar Rally,, but in saying that,, upgrade,, to 9.5 / 10 amazing site and great camp hosts too ,,, thanks Guys,
