Camp attendant started the day with a smile, campground was well taken care of, bathrooms clean. This is our favorite place to camp.

Even though it was cooler than I would have liked. I really enjoyed the kayaking with my little Yorkie (Baby T).

We had a fantastic camping weekend at Salt Lick Creek! The campsites were spaced out well and ours was perfect, a pull-through, right on the water with lots of room. The people were friendly and respectful and although it was full, it didnt feel crowded. The only issue I had was with the showers. They definitely need more! The bath house we were closest to, did not have showers so we drove to the next one and although it had three showers, only one worked properly. I would hope that with all the visitors they have, they would soon do some work on updating, adding and/or improving the bath houses. Otherwise, everything was great and I hope to camp there again!

peaceful clean campground. The only negative (or positive...depending on how you look at it) is there is NO CELL SERVICE and NO WIFI....so don't plan on getting or receivng any phone calls or checking emails. (our group consisted of ATT, Sprint, and Xfinity) The bath houses aren't that great compared to other corp of engineer campgrounds, but the camground in general makes up for that. Many have water access from the site, camp host was great, swim beach was well maintained, nice roads for kids to ride bikes. We will go back for sure!
