We were in site 125, nice level site, lots of shade. Evenings the deer would mosey by. Clean restrooms and quiet park. Would definitely stay again!

The volunteer that brought us our tag was very kind, we thought she did a great job! I definitely wouldnt say the picture of our camp site was accurate. In the pic it looked like it was surrounded with thick trees providing privacy. There is no privacy anywhere there. The sites are so close to each other our neighbors in the next site were able to see every move we made and took full advantage of it. There should be half as many sites as there are. I was also very surprised at how many sites appeared to have very long term campers in them who made use of black plastic and ragged tarps to create living space. However, it was quiet after quiet time and it was clean. On our way out there was a large group we passed (we were under the impression there was a limit to the number of campers per site) and one of the members was relieving himself right by the roadside. A beautiful drive out there but most likely wont go back even though parts of the experience were great.

Love this park, and lake. 3rd visit for us, this time we stayed in the Wood loop with fhu. This is great for walking, seeing wildlife and of course boating/swimming/kayaking.

Very peaceful, love the woods area, we watched the squirrels play and not alot of traffic .

First time there, meet both of our daughters son inlaw and Grand kids .Great Family memories that will last for ever.Definitely will be back.

Very peaceful and serene. All sites are crushed gravel, some are very long, most are somewhat level. Plenty of waterfront sites with water and electric. The sites in the wood section are all very shaded. Only drawback is cell coverage. We have AT&T and it's non-existant for several miles around. But you don't hear any highway or traffic noise. Just some boats and occasional aircraft.

If you want to get away from it all, this is the place. We liked it, quiet and woodsy. Plenty of room and shade with full hook-ups. Now the no so good...no cell service (20+ miles to a walmart to get a signal) and the roads leading to and from are very curvy (not very big rig friendly).
