We always enjoy our stay at Salt Lick Creek. We started camping there in the 90's when our boys were small. It is more crowded now, but always a relaxing and fun time for us. We are probably one of the few that are okay with limited cell service. We go camping to get away from the work calls, etc.

Salt Lick is a very beautiful place to camp. Sites are large and spacious. There are plenty of places to walk and lots of wildlife to see. The only negative is no WiFi and no cell phone service. They do have a place at the gate and at bathhouse 4 to connect to WiFi, but its very limited. Other than that, it is a great place to camp.

There is no phone service and can only get Wi-Fi at the park entrance. It is a nice park but the park must be upgraded! In the case of an emergency it would be practically impossible to get emergency help on the way in time to save a life.

We had a very rainy two week trip but the campground is very nice. People working the check in were very personable and willing to help if needed. The campground sites are very spacious and level. It was a nice restful stay.
