Everything was great but I really just need one thing when I’m tent camping and that’s a flat space big enough for my tent. That was not at all possible on this site. Also, no table?

The only let down eas the water line is so cluttered with high grass it is difficult to access the water from this camp site.

I arrived in the late afternoon to my campsite. It was pleasantly located in a spacious wooded site with the marshlands of the lake a minutes walk through the woods which allowed me to catch the tail end of a beautiful sunset. Unfortunately what I didn't notice until camp was setup was that I could hear traffic and a lot of sirens. I went to sleep hearing sirens and woke to sirens. In the full light I also noticed that there was a lot of trash at the campsite. I had planned to stay for a second night but packed up and left. Not being familiar with the Nashville area I did not realize how urban the campground really was.

The camp ground was great! We didn’t have the most desired lot on the property, but it was still a great experience! Lots of room to feel secluded and enough space to tie our boat up to a tree on the lake! Couldn’t ask for much more!

Our campsite (number 26) was huge and very private, although it was far from the bathrooms. The showers, however, were disgusting—mold, bugs, and trash in all of the stalls. Also, no effort was made to enforce the campground rules, with the group in site 29 holding a party with loud music, flashing lights, and dozens of people every night. While there is no beach access in the campground (all trails to the lake end in muddy marshes), there is a rarely-used boat ramp that makes a nice place to relax and watch the sunset. The campground has convenient access to the city without the stress, good cell coverage, and a grocery store nearby.

Nice campground overall. Showers could use some attention but that’s my only complaint. Everyone was very nice.
