Love this campground. I come to Nashville regularly for business and stay here whenever its open. It has everything I need. Decent management, facilities and has a great running opportunity with the park down the streetLove it!

A very nice campground! It would have been a five star, except for all the low tree limbs rubbing along the roof of our 12-foot-high motorhome, on the only road route in the campground! From that standpoint, it is not a BIG RIG friendly campground.

Great campsite close to the lake but still secluded from the other sites. Bathrooms could use some updating but were clean and offered hot showers. We we only about 20 minutes from downtown Nashville. Would certainly return, can't beat the price either.

Place is beautiful and super close to Nashville. Great kayaking and swimming experience. Bear island is great private place and super peaceful. This place has gate and wonderful staff. Showers and washer machine. If you’re visiting Nashville it’s only 40 minutes away.

We have stayed at Anderson Road many times. We tent camp and always stay in site 11. You can pitch the tent up at the fire pit and picnic table or go further down the wooded trail closer to the lake. This time we pitched the tent closer to the lake. The site was much cleaner than it has been in previous years, which was nice. As we explored the woods around, there was still an unfortunate amount of garbage washed up by the lake and that unscrupulous people have left on the rocks by the lake. I came prepared with gloves and a trash bag to clean up before we settled in to enjoy our time. It's pretty quiet and has the feel of being away from civilization which we enjoy. The kids love going to the lake beach nearby during the days.

Like the proximity of our site to the reservoir. And the beach access 1 mile away was walkable and the beach was very nice.
