Second flat tire in two visits this year. I got a flat tire when entering Wild Plum campground during our June visit. AND my friend got a flat tire when entering Wild Plum campground during our July visit. Required changing to the spare, and a trip to Portola Les Schwab (expensive for me).
We have been camping at Wild Plum many times during the past dozen years with no such problems.
I'm wondering if the trash pickup crew/equipment is scattering metal fragments. Or maybe some recent work crews did that.
Have other visitors reported such problems?
Maybe someone can investigate this.

Campground was nice as always. Would have been nice to actually have toilet paper in the restrooms. completely out two days and very little there the other two days. Don't need this when camping. There's already no camp host any more, have to drive to town for firewood - now no toilet paper?

Wild Plum is one of my favorite campgrounds. Right on Haypress Creek, views of the Sierra Buttes, low fire pits so you don't have to stand over the fire to keep warm, and close to Lakes Basin and Plumas-Eureka State Park for wonderful hiking.

Late season, still in great shape. Some garbage left behind a few sites down by the creek :-(

Half of the campsites were marked with reservation cards and nobody showed up for the site which seems wrong too me. It's like camping for rich people only. First come first served, like it used to be please.

Campsite and latrines were clean and kept clean.
Great launch pad for Sierra Buttes, Lakes Basin and Yuba Pass.
Close to Sierra City for supplies and if you want breakfast, lunch, dinner or a drink.
Wild Plum is a gem of a Sierra campground.
