Due to lack of camp host and minimal forest service presence, reservation system for campsites was ignored in some cases. Our campsite had campers in it when we arrived. They were polite and moved but a hassle non the less. We witnessed the same problem at a site near us when a camper left his site leaving beach chairs to indicate it was occupied. Other campers moved into the site and put chairs against a tree. A confrontation ensued when he returned and lasted quite awhile. Ended with unhappy campers. Many sites that were reserved went unoccupied . Our stay was pleasant but many campers and potential campers were confused by the lack clarity regarding the availability of campsites. With no camp host the dogs on leash rule was largely ignored.

Great campground! Nice creek to wade in. Sites are shaded and not too close.

The bathrooms were horrible… the forestry came 2 times in a 5day period.. it appears that they’ve not been dumped in A couple of years. We had to clean them our selfs ..we had a group of 20 + people. The smell was awful. Stitch all over the campground . Come on …we pay good money …take care of your stuff. We went to dump in logenville. Pay 10.00 ( which we are not opposed to at all.) But ..no water to clean out .. and it states you must Hose down…ok…the water sources are not working… California … bad … take care of our parks. Go to Oregon and Washington.. beautiful… and taken care of.. California.. take note. Tired of paying good money in California parks …
