Saw a rattlesnake, but it was minding its own business, friendly, being very cautious, keeping an eye on me to make sure I didnt provoke it.It said thank you for leaving me alone, & then let me know; This is my home, so try not to burn it down!I said I wont, have a nice winter, & hope I dont See you again next year!We went our separate ways

Great campsites on the creek. Close to Gold Lake Hwybwith tons of hiking.

Site 6 was a GREAT site. Definitely would stay again. Bring bug spray. Prepare for a stinky toilet stall on busy weekends. Otherwise, the campsite was clean, near the water and the camp host was kind.

Great River-side location. It should be noted that site #6 is only suitable for a camper or vehicle with a RTT. No room for vehicle and tent,as it was I had to set up my tent in the open path to the River next to the site. Never saw the Host
